just reached final table out of 547entrees,
BB is a 26/17ish player over about 110 hands
i thought minraises in this stage of the game were ok, but apperantly not
i dont know how i screw up everytime on FT or right before it, its just 1$ but it hurts my confidence.

I think how much you bet pre is mostly just personal preference as long as it's between 2 and 2.6 or so. but I do think geenerally, you should bet slightly more than a minraise (it can be 10800) because some people are just principally like "fuck you minraiser" and refuse to fold - but they might fold if you make it 1.1 bb more instead of 1 bb more.
I don't really think you can fold on the flop but that's all read dependant. top pair button vs blind and less than 20bb is tough to let go of ever though - it's kinda like, after you notice you might be beat you're too comitted to let go. (and that's also why it doesn't matter that much whether you push or raise, if you make it 40k instead then you're prolly supposed to call even if he shows you t8 and pushes. not doing math, but I'd expect calling for the split to be +ev in this event.) |

There's very little you can do about this hand. If you know the other guy is defending his BB a lot you can fold that hand.

moneys likely going in here, but if he is bluffing you allow him to barrel a turn instead of letting him fold |

i dont think i would flat flop i would probably raise him an amount he could shove over with a bluff and an amount you can shove without overbetting the turn if he just calls. |

shoving on such a dry board is preeety spazzy.. your gonna get stacked here almost awlays but make a reraise instead of shoving give him a chance to respazz |

i didnt want to flat on this flop cause u dont get any information with a J+ turn besides is passive.
i think the best way was to make a thin raise and call a shove...but anyways this turbo rush on demand are so high variance,
i just got kicked out of another final table just ago lol.

the kk hand is an easy bet call, no point in pushing. I mean you're never supposed to fold, but it's so much better to bet 35k+ push turn than to overbet push the flop. |

That's way too big of a 3bet even for a $1. 18k is plenty and arguably too big too. |

so what would you raise PF? and do op later streets whoosel? I guess i did it because i didnt want a confrontation with him yet, but only with the lower stacks,
so theres about 18k in the pot before i 3bet, and if i raise to 18k he has to call 12k into a 36k pot, isnt that odds for him to call with much suited crap and lower pairs and outflop me? |

you want him to call with suited crap. it's not a cashgame, you're sitting 45 bb deep. someone calling off 1/7.5 of their stack pre is awesome. 18k would be good I think - and you really do have FE with just another 12k as well. in fact, when I watch "bad" tournament players lose big stacks, it tends to be because they just keep losing chips because they constantly feel "priced in" the pot. you want to price people in yourself. |

He does not have implied odds for calling with suited connectors or small pairs. |

you guys are right, thx for commenting, i intend to push the pot button some times, wich is not good in this formats i think, i feel i have small leakes when im in the money, i dont think its hard to get there but, and i think i have a edge over the average players but to often i get into the money and i scew up with betsizing or i also rely to much on small sample stats and im to often confrontate myself with 50/20 players because i think they are weak, when they are not,
The KK i played way to agressive, i m thinkin about buying tableninja cause this betsizing leaks starts to annoy me |

In hand 1 I agree with everyone I guess. I don't like to raise 2x in micros cause the reality is that people do have the Fu minraise attitude and the .1-3 may have ended the hand pre. I personally would have fc flop cause a don't see most players donk bet bluffing on paired boards. Fold to turn bet/ check. I'm not sure about the river play if checked... Youre usually either up against an underpair, naked ace or better 10. Since u have majority of his holdings beat I think I would check ur always getting looked up by his 10
Hand 2 I really like your line. Money play!! |
