Of a 20$ MTT, 2300 entrants, 15 left.

Antes are 1/8 the BB and we are 7 handed.

Folded around to the Button who has 28 BB, Hero is in the BB with 13 BB.

Button is a break even low stakes MTT grinder, has been calling shorties with the right odds and putting the occasional raise but nothing extreme. Hero has shoved once in the 30 hands we are at the table and pretty much folded due to circumstances the other times. First time its folded to him on the Button, he minraises.

I don`t have much experience in late stages and i`m kind of lost here.

Getting 3 to 1, am I ever just calling here, and if yes with what hands?
What should my shoving range here be?

Edit: Once I shove he is getting 1.5 to 1 on his call.

if he loses he's leaving himself with 15 BB stack, plus 1.5 to 1 are nowhere near auto-call odds.
You have a resteal stack + tight image, so I think you can ship lightly here. I guess I'd ship suited connectors down to 76s, (dunno about 65s) all pairs and most broadways + hands like J9s or JTo. Maybe even lighter.

P.S. And 1/4 SB is a big ante, so note that later you are going to give everyone better odds if you re-steal. With that ante structure + your stack you need to get some chips quickly otherwise you will lose your fold equity on re-steals.

im rarely calling to play a pot OOP that short. im shoving JTs+QTs+QJo+ K9s+KTo+A5s+A8o+ and 55+

his range to open is going to be very wide, as its just the btn and blinds, and its the first time its folded around to him, so he should be opening about 50% of his range and folding everything to your shove but the top9-10% of his range

i would really only consider calling with strong hands and you know villain is going to cbet IP 100% of the time, so you can check/shove flop.

I like chris' range + I'd shove all pairs and some suited connectors and one-gappers because those have good EV against his calling range.

Since villain is opening for the first time in 3 orbits I would narrow our ship range towards KJo+ QJs+ A5s+ A8o+ and 55+ because vs his perceived image it looks like youre pushing for fold equity which in turn will probably make villain call u off a little lighter. I don't think his range is necessarily as wide as others may think. Aswell as by folding to this b r you will more likely get a fold next orbit where we can widen our range substantially.
