cbet size in 3b pots, trouble

Hi!

I am playing 6max nl50 at the moment and I really have problems in 3bet pots where Im the aggressor. I played alot of FR before and there I could take lines like halfpot cbet then shove turn but here I find I just get outplayed.

If I 3b AK pf and get a call and the flop is like Jxx and he checks to me what is the standard line really? And often I 3b bluff like K9s and feel kinda lost on the flop.

What happens alot is I halfpot cbet and he seldom folds. Or I check back and he bombs turn. Or I bet big to commit and he just crycalls medium pocket or decent toppair kinda hand.

What is the adjuments I should look to do? Cbet less in 3b pots? What size do u guys use etc.

thats entirly dependand on your opponent, but if u find your being called down very light, for example 66 on j72 than just 3bet a bit tighter and get stacks in when u do hit or flop an overpair.

just watch who you 3bet light, either they fold a lot to the 3bet preflop, or they give up a lot on the flop (fold to cbet)

if they don't give up much preflop or postflop, then just valuetown them preflop and postflop

sometimes giving up a missed AK in a 3bet pot isn't that bad

Ok so I look to 3b someone with high F3 and if they call proceed with the knowledge that they actually have a strong hand. Or I 3b someone who will call some 3b but just check fold alot on flop. Someone who doesnt fold either to 3b or postflop and pulls alot of moves I can try trapping and also stack of light to when I have a piece. I guess this is pretty nice, thanks. Main problem is of course having sufficient reads and stats on the player as always.

I think it's fine to 3-bet less until you gradually find yourself more and more comfortable in these situations. Then you can increase your 3-betting range
