7,8,j, all hearts, aces are all scare cards. Raise to stack top pairs, smaller over pairs, draws, pairs+draws. |

While it's true fish dont really ever minraise with anything short of the nuts, and most fish are capable of differentiating between top pair and sets as the nuts, your only concern in these spots should be with vulnerable hands like mid range PP's and TPTK. I wouldnt slow down with KK in this spot, mainly because you're never making a huge mistake if he beats you considering his 60BB stack. |

slowing down here is a huge mistake
your read is also completley wrong |

I said he shouldnt slowdown. And the read is just at these limits, when players minraise the flop/turn it is usually a very strong hand. |

Im just kinda tired of seeing sets and 2 pair in these spots all the time...
i mean I know he's a 60bb fish, but he's SOO passive, doesn't that count for anything?
do you really think he minraises a pair+draw/AT here?
looked like a set or 2pair to me at the time... and I was right ofc.
I mean- if he raised me 3x it's a different story |

it only looks like that because you only remember the hands you are losing, you are good here a huge % of the time |

Sure it counts for something. But lets give villain an estimated range of all "nut" hands here, say AA, TT-99, 66, T9s, T6s, 96s, T9o, T6o, 96o. You're getting 3:1 to call here and you still have 25% equity to win the pot with a suckout. You are actually priced in to call even if he flipped his cards up and showed you before you act. But we also have to consider the stupidity factor that he's doing this with pairs, overpairs, and air. |
