villain is 40/15 with Afq of 48%
am I always 4bet shoving here? or can I just flat b/c he's stack leaves me little fold equity?

Fold equity is irrelevant here, you have so much equity that you can never fold at any point -> you must get the money in ASAP because your monstrous equity drops on a lot of turns & he will often slow down or fold if he still has money left when you hit flush outs.

It'd be tough to 4 bet shove here but i'm all in favor of a 3 bet shove.

Both options of shoving and calling will always be profitable. So

Instead, I think the main consideration on this hand should be one of Overall Game Plan, and how you balance your ranges for 3betting and flat calling and what makes you most difficult to play against.

Yeah I really don't know whats the best overall strategy tho.

A decent idea might be to 3b Non-Nut Flushes and Strong Ace High Draws like this and maybe like Top Set...while flatting Nut flushes, and Mid and Bottom Set.

Or you could just 3b anything good and flat with a weak range if he doesn't think.


Im new to trying to balance so I am kinda very confused on whats the best.

fps and overthinking vs a 40bb stack. just shove the chips in.

Haha yeah hes really short. I was going to say somehow I feel all that crap goes out the door against this guy. But I can't rationalize why thats the case.
