+ Show Spoiler +
villain is fishy but not terrible, aggressive in position in single raised pots, but playing too much oop. Not much of 3betting dynamic, but over small sample he called a 3bet and folded flop iirc.
what do we do on this blank turn? bet/call, or c/r? Don't know anything about his floating/betting range or what he would bet/fold and bet/call, he is practically unknown.
what on blank river if I bet? What on blank river if turn got checked?

I think this is a very clear bet. If you c/r you just get it in behind against his strong hands and let him check back all the hands which you have fold equity against by barrelling. Wheter to shove the river unimproved is super opponent dependant. |

i would bet like pot size(or at least near) on the flop, i mean u gonna do that with a made hand too right?
that sets u up for a real big 2nd barrel with lots of fold equity |

Bet call as a standard, check shove if we expect him to bet Tx A9s, called overs+gutshot etc. when we check. |

I bet all my 3bet pot cbets the same size: bluffs, semi-bluffs, draws and made hands, something over half a pot sized bet.
But it does make sense to make it bigger on drawheavy boards. I would bet the same amount on the flop with my made hands fwiw, is this bad?
Do you guys vary your bet size in 3bet pots with the board texture?
And would you also pot it on this board with say Q8? Or fuck balance? |
