** High Stakes Hand of the Week **

This great hand was played by Twisted in a $3/$6 heads-up game. The hand starts with the players having an effective $1035 stack. Twisted holds K9 and raises from the button, villain reraises and Twisted calls. The flop comes T93 rainbow and gives Twisted mid pair. and villain check-calls Twisted's bet. The turn is a four, and both players check. The turn is a six, which makes a straight possible. Villain checks, our hero fires a 2/3 pot bet and villain reraises all-in for a $899 shove, clearly representing a straight. Our hero has proven before that he has the mind of a soul reader, and so he did again, by making a sick call with just second pair for a $2070 pot!

Twisted calls villain's shove on a dangerous board with just second pair

Runner-up: The next hand shows n0rthf4ce/peachy_keen making a sick bluff on the river with complete air! It all happened in a $5/$10 6-handed game. Peachy holds 32 in the button and raises to $30, villain calls and both players see the flop of AQT with two hearts. Villain checks, Peachy bets $50 into $70 and villain calls. A four falls on the turn, and villain check-calls again. The river brings a four of hearts, which pairs the board and makes a flush possible. Villain fires $390 into $450 and Peachy tanks for a while, requesting time. Holding nothing but air against a villain representing a flush draw, our hero shoves all-in and makes villain give-up his hand!

Peachy makes an unreal bluff and makes villain fold the better hand

** Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week **

This hand was played by Twisted as well, as he took both HOTW awards this week! This time, he was playing a $2/$4 6-handed game when he called a raise with AT. The flop came 992 with two spades and villain fired a cbet, which Twisted called. The turn dropped a four of diamonds. Villain fired a second barrel and Twisted made another call. The river was a five of diamonds. This time, villain checked and Twisted fired a half-pot bet, only to see villain raising to $441 and put him on a tricky spot. Regardless of the dangerous situation, our hero proceeded to make the call with just AT and won a 218bb pot!

Twisted reads his opponent's soul before making a brave call

Runner-up: This is the second appearance for the cleaner in our bulletin in two weeks, and yet he posts another great hand. Holding AQ in a NL100 short-handed game, the cleaner 3bets a pre-flop raise from the big blind. The original raiser folds and villain calls from the small blind. The flop comes 872 with two clubs and both players check. Another seven pairs the board on the turn. This time, villain bets $32 into $46 and our hero makes the call. A six of diamonds falls on the river and villain bets $83, more than enough to put our hero all-in. Holding just AQ in a 3bet pot, the cleaner calls with his remaining stack and wins a 250bb pot, as villain showed QT for a failed bluff attempt!

the cleaner wins big pot by making cold call with just A-high

Special Mention: Hitting a Royal Flush is always special. I'm sure we will all agree this time it was beyond fantastic, as palak managed to win over 500bb with his royal! Check it out!

** Tournament Performances **

After quite some time we are happy to award the winner of a live tournament! Ciejas, who posts in our Polish brother TLPoker PL, took down the Gran Canaria European Masters of Poker and pocketed an impressive €66,240 first prize! It was a €1,000 buy-in event which drew a 288-player turnout! Ciejas topped all his opponents and went home after a great victory! Congratulations!
