we just arrived at this level. the level before he was not getting it in really light but we were mostly deeper there with lower blinds. this villain is def not a maniac. but i think he would shove a good range. (in this case he showed up with K4s) is calling here too light ?

I dont call this with Q high. Marginal and high variance play. If you think he is pushing with a wide range why not wait a few hands to pick up better than Q high? Your not under any pressure to put all your chips in and he is. |

the last comment is wrong. If he is shoving wider call. If hes not then hes prob not calling enuf either so we make more by making him fold and knowing that he will not shove on us wide enough

note if hes shoving wider its a call because we have more equity against his range and he will be shoving more and taking the important 150 in the middle more. And an extra 150 in his stack means an extra 150 on next decision. So if we wait and get a similar equity spot that we then have to take that is really bad. QJ call here standard given what u said. |
