I guess this is just what LP does...

Check deuces and 2+2, among other sites, and there are a bunch of affordable coaches. Take your time picking since you're gonna be spending a fair bit of time with the guy. I don't think creating a "shortlist" of 2-4 people and buying .5-1hrs from each is taking it too far.

To get you started, guys I can think of off the top of my head:
-Heilko (spelling??) on DC, charges $80.
-Isura (leggo), 100ish
-Clayton Newman (leggo), 125

edit: I should note I haven't gotten coaching from any of these guys, but have considered / tried to contact them in the past, and did so b/c of recommendations from others.

My coach is Marshall28. He's got a blog on LP, and I think he charges 100 right now with a profitsharing option.

Im thinking about moving back into cash games, ive been winning at tournys since i stopped cash but the money just isnt coming in quick enough, the steady flow of rakeback from cashgames is alot more fitting for my lifestyle.. but ive been breaking even too much so im looking for a coach, for nl50 and i guess nl100 when i move up. I dont have the capital to be paying a coach by the hour so i would like to work out a profit sharing deal over X amount of hands. If anyone is interested please just post in this thread, no PMs unless you really need 2.

edit: oh also i will play FR or 6max and im willing to put in a minimum of 2K hands a day.

pm me with your IM--we can talk

Dude arent you good friends with Mez / Doomer / etc ?
They could probably help you out a lot more than most coaches.
Im not saying leach off them or anything, but ask them to maybe sweat you for 30 mins or something, and get a little group of players from similar stakes to discuss things with.

Also; didnt u quit recently?

im friends with them, but their time is worth alot, itd be dumb for them to waste hours for tiny profits (if i make any) when they can just play and get their redic hourly anyway.

nah ive never quit i mean i still play for a living, i moved to tournys and thats been going well but i under estimated the tourny grind and im just not getting enough money that i can continue to build my BR and cash out to pay billz.

Its hard to make a easy buck legally, its impossible to make a easy buck morally.
