Interesting thread on 2p2 where cake ships a pot to the losing hand.

Lee Jones' response:

  Hi folks -
Unfortunately, at the moment, this appears to be real. What's bizarre is how it happened this one time out of the tens of millions of hands we've dealt. Needless to say, our software people have dropped everything else to track this down. I'll update you as soon as we understand what happened.

Best regards,
Lee Jones

Wow that's weird, must've been some glitch I guess?

I was thinking about going back to cake actually since I can't get rakeback on FTP. I just hope their note software has gotten better because last time it used to randomly jump around and it was very annoying.

Maybe they had some Cereus guys making the software

I started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

really? when was last time stars or ftp handed money over to the losing hand? This is not a standard glitch and although its not as bad as stuff that happened at AP and such, it definitely is bad for cake poker.

cake hasnt been doing pertty good since lee showed up actually. tbh i dont think this is much of a big deal, it was a $4 pot with nobody important involved and a week after lee clears it up people will forget this happened

Its time to stop thinking like a bitch and think smart like a poker player - ket

this is a huge deal... they are lucky it happened at one of their lowest tables or there might be an even bigger out rage.

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

imagine if this happened in a huge tourney, right at the final table bubble lol. hands would keep on playing so they couldn't correct it and the entire result of the tournament will be different.

that happened to me at ipoker a few years ago

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time
