you're asking if a move would be +ev if your opponent played perfect.
which is like dividing by 0.

but generally not folding trips is good for you.
especially against the likes of isildur
dont level yourself into thinking there is anything to that play but bad. Cos there isnt.

*wink wink*

That is something that I have never thought about. Cool stuff. Bit of a mindfuck, haha.

That is how he got to highstakes within a year in the first place

I started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

He still ain't done. Playing durrrr on 4 tables of NLHE HU for 100$/200$ stakes. Not as 500$/1000$ as back in November but maybe he catches some solid streak somewhere again the stakes could be upped very soonish...

When somebody raises AAx r they usually either have a really strong hand (trips w/ good kicker or low boat) or they're bluffing -> pretty stupid to 3bet anything most of the time (unless you want to level a decent player when you actually have a strong hand). So when the guy 3bet Viktor immediately put him on a bluff and shoved.

Who the hell 3bets A7o on AAx r for half his stack and starts hesitating? :D He had to be a pretty horrible player, but it's probably Viktors fault that he made that assumption on the flop.

Peace of mind cant be bought.

1) Imo Blom was owning the table pretty much so the guy probably had an erection when he got trips on flop
2) I've no idea how they edit the series, but imo if Blom hesitated before going all-in it would've increased FE
3) It's hard to believe that Blom wouldn't 4bet PF a good ace
4) this play was so damn sexy

It's sort of sad that everybody laughed... I wonder wheter they perceived him as a donk, or as a decent player.
I mean my reaction would be totally opposite. I would've been in total shock, and bascially going thru the hand instantly.

Oh... and... 4bet pre Blom

btw tomson why does the flush draw make it bad. Cause blom is repping flushes? or because the guy can call with a flush?

or is it because since theres a blush draw the guy's 3bet is probably an ace so its bad to bluff it? which? v curious

Problem is that he is not playing vs that many fish, he is mostly playing regs that are waiting in lobby HU. If they are fish/mediocre/good/Gosu doesnt seem to matter at all ^^

So you're saying he is not skilled enough to adjust properly?

nope, im speculating that he is not that used to play against fish lately. Fish do react a little different in different spots than what he is used to in his normal circumstances 8 tabling Durrr / Brian Townsend / Phil Ivey / PA at the same time (Or very good regs on Betfair/Ipoker). Thereby he got underlevelled in this particular situation...
