No stats, I know I should've raised bigger on the turn, but as played, what do I do on the river? His turn bet makes me think he really didn't like the 3rd diamond but his shove on the river makes me think I'm beat here pretty bad. I don't really see what I beat here by calling.

pots it on the flop, either strong ace or set, dun think many people pot it with fd's. turn he gay bets, which makes me think he wants to see the river card for cheap so maybe he thinks u have the flush but he has something like AAA, 555, or 33/A3. Ionno, ur getting 2:1 to call the river, it just depends how loose the villain is.

but the gay turn bet/call then shove river seems uber suspicious, so maybe a fold is correct.

vs just a random player (if u play alot of 50NL FR and "know" all the regulars) and then a random sits in i click call here everytime

since you say no stats i assume he is a fish

i would check him on ptr while im tanking, see his PTR page and dp an deleyed insta-call, fish show up with wierd stuff here all the time, random highcard diamond that missed etc

even though its very possible he would take this line with a boat, but given that he is a fish and u got "good" odds on a call just call, it cant be that big of a misstake vs an unknown player

it would be great to have some hands and history on villain in spots like these, you never know what type of fish he will turn out to be, superpassive never bluff looose-nitty type of fish, or the maniac fish that shows up with Q5o here

i pot with flush draws, (and air) wtf is up with his turn bet, seems like they might be cheaply drawing at a fullhouse, given the river shove. I'd call anyway cause he seems like a retard, and good odds.

wow, seeing that PTR graph makes me think that this guy has a super wide range, could be shoving straights, aces and air a lot here.

Vs. an unknown this is pretty gross and we really don't beat anything.

Vs. this guy I'm calling after seeing his PTR.

I wouldn't even bother trying to analyze/evaluate the hand against this guy though. He could literally have anything on the river and have played it in an infinite amount of ways leading up to that point. Just comes down to the fact that we have a flush against his super over aggressive tendencies and the fact he's a huge losing player.

ouch... this is a lot closer than most people make it seem given his ptr.

I think I call this only vs a random player.
random player meaning a player who randomly pushes buttons, which is what his PTR kinda looks like...
even then it's pretty close...

recently switched from weak tight to weak agressive.Last edit: 01/02/2010 13:53
