If I have K-K-4-7 and Villain has A-K-3-2 and the board is A-9-9-9-7, which hand wins?
KK has KK999 for a full house and villain has AAK99 for Aces up? |

You need to use 3 community cards and 2 holecards. |

kk wins. i used to get tilted when i expected to win these 1 card winners like in holdem and they ship it to villain. good times
basically, u cannot use 1 card to win a hand.
so if board is
4444a
ur opponent has a789
u have 1010jq
u win coz best two cards is a9 and urs is 1010 |

Golden rule is when there is trips on the board biggest pocket pair usually wins. Unless it's low trips and a bigger fullhouse can be made.
For example on a 2227T board the nuts are quad 2s, followed by Tens full, followed by 7's full, followed by AA then KK then QQ etc.
P.S. the other tricky hold'em logic you have to ignore is on double paired boards. On a KK772 board, pocket 2s beat a naked king or a naked seven. Pocket 2s is really strong because it's very rare for your opponent to have K7 or K2 or 72. I'd bet that quad kings is the most common hand that beats you. |
