Just checking if shoving is here is most +EV.
23 players left. Top 12 is where most significant money starts (1900 entrants or so) I believe average stack is around 170k

Villain - 98 hands like 15/8/2.3%3bet, 0/3 fold to 3bet. Given his stack size, what kind of range can we expect villain to be raising here? I have noticed a certain pattern with this type of hand at this stage of a tournament, to give my opponent a very specific range. I will post what I thought later.
What hands do we expect villains range to be here? And what is a correct calling range for him if I do shove?? |

does he normally raise less than 3x or does he usually 3x? If he usually 3x's even a tight range of 8% PFR you should shove, if he normally 2.5x's I might fold if the blinds aren't going up for a little while. If they are going up in like 3minutes or less I would still reshove anyways. |

Yeah i have not seen him raise x3 exactly before. He usually raises around 2.5, and seen him raise x4 once, but no showdown on that. Hmmm 15min blind levels I believe they have only gone up about 5 mins ago at most. Seen 10 hands at this level prior to this, 6 of them with no flop, and 3 with SD. So yeah prob around 5mins of play there at that level. |

ya whether he normally 3xes or not is huge here. if he's normally raising less, he has AK this time and raises this much because he's not comfortable playing it but is still going to call any shove. or possibly a semi-high PP! |
