A suggestion for the site...

Hey all,

Although this idea is taken straight from facebook, I was wondering if anyone else ever wanted to have a notification box. Like you'd get a notification if someone commented on your hand, blog, etc. Just a thought?

yea its all about the shoutbox.. they wouldnt make one, i made a website for people to shout about poker, it failed and and and FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That always struck me as the most annoying thing ever, get like 20 notifications from the same topic. Do people really use this and like it?

Takes away too much site activity. Rail topics would die amongst others.

Well in response to Byrnesam... Does a blog automatically come back to the top after it has been commented on? I don't think so... So like let's say you're having an epic thread on someone's blog and leave for an hour and other blog posts have been made. Maybe you forgot the originator of the blog so you can't even comment on it again. I know this is assuming people are idiots and can't just look at their history I just think it would make like super easy idk

I like the idea. It's almost pointless to comment on old hands/blogs because the author, or anyone else for that matter, will never even read it.
