So after looking at the hands where I've been led into for under 40% pot on the flop and I raised with no pair, I got folds 22/55 times. Not as many folds as I thought I was getting. Surprisingly I'm slightly on the positive side on money made in these hands. But looking at the situations I get in, it's definitely not a good play. Bluff raising people who call too much is a bad play, who would have thought?
Thanks for the help. (jerks ) |

Fold flop. Fish don't fold anything, and you trying to bluff him when so many hands he has connect with that flop, and then you pretty much checked turn and river.

Yea just fold flop. You have such a big edge over him that you can wait for the next hand and do exactly the same, only with TP this time |

Haha interesting responses. I think MiPwnYa thought you had an overpair b/c I don't know how we lose value vs Tx here when we have K high w/o a gutshot even.
Against a huge fish I'm just never folding this flop. We can hit so many cards that can lead towards a stack (any 9+), and he's donking real small into a somewhat large pot with almost a full stack behind so huge implied odds. However, I'm not a fan of raising it since we didn't hit super well and it's fairly coordinated so you can expect a lot of hands that donk to call a raise. Like Tian said though, I'm blasting this up on a raggier board.
Just consider your fold equity and raw equity when facing donk bets. Here the fold equity looks terrible since it's so coordinated. Raw equity isn't great on flop either as we don't flop much, although enough good turn cards can come that I definitely want to call a small donk with good implied odds.

Haha, I thought you might have misread it at first, but I thought "it was suited, there's no way". So I just figured you were just trolling me for playing stupidly. |

yup
also flop is fine but remember that a lot of turn cards are good for 2 barrels a lot of the time. |
