We are in mid stages of the tournament. It is a pretty deep stack tourney, with the average stack at around 18k.

Is this fine or this a bit on the spew side? Now I am almost 99% sure that I am ahead of the UTG shove range. This is not what I am worried about. What I am worried about is, I am shoving my whole stack in UTG+1 with still alot of players to act. There are a few players that have me covered and some around my stack size, if a player was to wake up with JJ+ could they call? They are certainly calling with KK/AA but what about JJ/QQ ?

Now If I was in a more later position I have no problem shoving here. But I did think about this shove and realised it may be very risky. What is your thoughts? Is there any reasoning to flat this shove or is that even worse? Or is this totally standard to shove this from any position?

you are pushing 88 for 70bb into 7 players

if you flat, the range of the 3rd player to enter will be about the same as it would have been otherwise.

there is also almost no way to mess with this player's range enough to get you over, say, 30% 3way should you choose to continue.

the difference is that you sometimes get to choose if you want to continue and all you have to do then is decide if the 1k dead (or less depending if it's a blind that comes in) is enough to overcome the extent to which you are underwater on equity.

yea that was pretty spewy there... I don't think you really need to iso at all. Might even fold tbh. But I think calling is ok. shoving is insane.

Thanks guys.

So flatting is ok here? Are we expecting someone to come along with ATo+ hands here. Lets say the button has AJs, could he even consider squeeze shoving or would that be so bad it just wouldn't happen? I just really hate my hand if I flat this and players flat behind and I am OOP with a very large pot on the flop. And if the board comes down like K5J or something, I just feel I am going to be completely outplayed on the flop even with the best hand.

How do we approach flops if I do flat and someone calls behind me. Do we lead out on decent flops for our hand, like K37r and try to get a fold, or do we try c/r vs aggressive players who may stab? What about more dangerous flops like TJ7ss. Or do we c/f on 3 over card flops and just forget about it?

Really more I think about it, folding seems really +EV here lol.

No, flattings not ok, this is just a fold, too many guys behind. Always fold

iunno about that. ya it's the bottom of our range but it's still in it and we have prolly 60%+ v utg jammer and subsequent play is almost always ez.

after checking my db and reviewing, yes, fold. this can really hurt relative finish positions over the long term.
