ive played less then 100 hands of 5 card draw (1 draw) and in that sample i've had a full house twice, but beaten twice by a better full house. anyone good with calculations, know what the odds are for you to hit a fullhouse and beaten by a better full house? out of pure curiosity |

Dunno, but your having a full house makes it ever so slightly more likely that someone else will have one too (more likely for the remaining cards to pair and triple) |

1 out of 2, they either have a better full house or they don't. |

I read that the odds of getting a full house in 5 card are about 1 in 600. So if you have a full house the odds your opponent also has a full house is about 1 in 600, and he only has you beat half the time so 1 in 1,200? But your question is what are the odds you both get a fullhouse on a specific hand so that would probably be something like (1/600)(1/600)(1/2) for a total of 1 in 720,000 or something like that. |

Depends on how many cards you draw. If you start out with trips it's probably like 8% or something to get a FH+ (ie or quads) on top of my head. |

Also depends on how many players you are playing with and how many stay in the hand. |
