Started playing some PLO again and had mixed feelings about this river. Active stacks are $45, do we shove or not?

Only hand we might get value from sometimes is QQxx I guess, but on the other hand only one logical hand beats me (Kd Jx Xd Xx), and with that hand villain is prolly gonna shove this river a huge amount of the times.

Villain is unknown been seems kinda passive, my image is aggro but not overaggro spewy.

Thoughts?

bet pot on the flop. Had u done this on the first place the river bet would have been much esaier as u would have had like 30ish dls left. So you could like timebank on the river and then shove. Doing this will get a call fom all the sets and even AQ IMO.

If u know the dude is really tilted or just ur classic PLO nut job fire away. Tilted fools will try to get it all in on the flop with a nut FD especially if they have str8 outs. So this is villain dependat as it is always the case in this wonderful game. But given ur read i would check as I see no value in betting. The problem with this hand is that he's pretty much repping the Khigh FD and he is gonna have KJ part of the time. Given ur read and stack sizes checking the river is ok.(dont be greedy lol)

I think shove is EV+. You will definitely see QQ/AQ/55 more often than you will see someone checking the nuts here especially with the 2 busted flush draws on the board

I like a check for sure and here is why

1.) villain is more likely to raise to get a set in than to call/call/call
2.) there is only 1 ace left. villain is unlikely to have 2 pair.
3.) villain is very liable to check a river straight in my experience
4.) if villain doesn't have a straight, he very often has a missed flush/combo draw and won't call anyways

Grindin so hard, Im smashin pussies left and right.

it's really a matter of whether he has qq/55/AQ (and will actually call a river shove)

vs

how often he has KJ

I think he has KJ more often than he has qq/55/aq and will call a river shove

i find that most ppl would shove KJ here. However, I don't see any hand that calls our shove besides the nuts or maybe someone with QQ but probably not. I like a small value bet here. I'd bet like 20 or something and probably cry if he shoves.

This is the correct reasoning. This is a very easy check behind. You'll only end up getting insta-folds or value-towning yourself in this spot. The players that are bad enough to call down with a low set or other trashy two pair hands you should already have a note on saying they are terrible and have no concept of Omaha hand strength lol.

This is a check. You likely have the best hand, but you're rarely getting called by worse. At first glance this can look like a blankish card, but it isn't. It either loses you the hand or kills your action.
