umm of course we can. especially when you go out of your way to insult other players for doing what you do. it's called hypocrisy.

Long 13 hour session... Isi was up almost 1.8 mil, Antonius took a 1hr food break, came back and got back to even and at one point was even 300-400k up but in the end isildur managed to finish 700k up.

Don't be so fast to call PA a pussy or a hypocrite.

As far as I can see, only durrr, Ivey, and PA is willing to give Isildur action. Where is everyone else?

Only PA and Ivey have given Isildur constant multitabling action last few days.

Only PA has taken up Durrr's challenge and gone 24 000 hands so far against him.

Plus, I don't see OMGClayAiken multitabling Heads up against Isildur in PLO.

Galfond has said in his blog that he doesn't have the funds currently to be playing such high stakes (due to irl financial obligations).

"What I should say is that my financial situation isn't great right now. I've been very happy with the way I've been playing, and my results have been pretty good, but due to some investments, staking, taxes, and mostly expenses on my new place, I've found my self a little short on cash."

"I'll probably be playing lower for a little while. I still COULD play in some bigger games, but I really think it's a bad idea. A small bad run could get to me in a big way right now. It will be nice now that I think about it, especially since I'll have less time to play the rest of the year than usual."

He actually did play Isildur early on in his high stakes run, and took some money from him at plo iirc.

edit: PTR is showing that they played only ~1k hands and Galfond made only $34k after being up close to $400k at one point.

PA promised Isildur NLHE action personally.
Makes him pretty much a cunt in my book.

I think everyone blows that 1 interview paragraph way way way out of proportion.

then:
“I would like to issue a little challenge to a few online players who have been very successful at the biggest games online the past few months. All they do is hide behind their computer screens, scared to play anyone that they think is any good. I have not played Heads Up No Limit on Full Tilt for a long time and have hardly any experience playing it compared to these guys, yet, they refuse to play me and are dodging me in all games.

Durrr, OMGClayAiken, trex313, Urindanger, I am looking for action and I want a chance to play against the best. I will play any of you in any game on Full Tilt, I will be waiting, hopefully your up for the challenge.”

now

not no limit hold'em, i'm down in that game!!!

Yeah saying he is all time loser at NL and everyone is beating him at it is a pretty sick dodge.

But that was written 1.5 years ago. A lot could have happened within that time frame.

Atleast he's still going monster sessions with Isildur in PLO. I don't see anybody else other than Durrr / Ivey.

Also, I personally think Isildur downplays how good he really is in PLO. He makes everyone think he's a huge dog in the game..... But clearly can hold his own over tens of thousands of hands.

100% truth. it's very possible he is an insane monster at holdem but still capable of being as good as anyone at plo.

its not even about what he said in the interview, not even about him promising Isil HUNL action, its about how he promised it(as a tradeoff for PLO session).
Sure as far as poker is concerned anything goes, but as far as being a cool guy he's not ranking too high.
