HU has been going for a short while, some guy just sat in and got stacked by him. I stacked his top 2 earlier with AA after flatting preflop on AJXhh ... which if I had remembered, I would probably have been happier here lol
He INTSA4bet and INTSApot.
First 3bet of the match .
Table started as HU between him and me (he's on one of my other tables as well) - we've played maybe 30 hands. I stacked him after flatting trashy AA and misclick c/minraising him on a AJXhh flop, got it in vs his AJQ*.
He got his stack from busting some guy who sat in (raised AK39hhcc, 2 calls, bet/bet/called 3h5h9xKx, called guys front shove on 4h river - who was turning his JJXX into a bluff).
The 4bet was about the uhm, fastest thing I have seen in life. I 3bet really quickly (first 3bet of match for me, he 3bet once before on the hand after I stacked him) and he insta-popped it back. I have a sweet hand so I call.
Flop comes this.... What do I do?
C/R seems.... not great considering the hands that will get it in with me (AA**, big wraps+fds or wrap+top 2 I guess? maybe he can somehow have bottom set). Does let me pick up a cbet almost always tho.
C/C, pot blank turn (or c/shove blank turn)?
Lead to induce spazz "I have AA" shove?
C/F...? (or, the time tested c/timeout which is what I went with lol, I need a timebank  ) I'm just including this for completeness, I have a strong feeling it's not the best idea!!
Should I be scared of the instant 4bet followed by instant pot? Does the fact that he saw me not 3bet AA** before matter a lot do you think.
I don't know if my fold was that bad but meh.
Do you think I'd have any fold equity if I c/c, pot any diamond (c/c any blank as he might continue repping aces with his draws)?
The way I figure is, if we are going to get it in eitherway (which I'm not sure about), doing it on the turn is better. |
