voted for K88/QJT43/34567, i dont play any of the 2-7 variation just high card ranking only version, but 88 at the top seems solid and a str8 at bottom is probably at least break even so id go with that |

Kinda matters if it's HU or not, no? I think HU I'd go K88/Q/str8, eh probably multiway too, but then I think it's closer. I really don't know how solid 8-high is 3 or 4-way because I only play high/high/high like a fish. |

I think you overlooked a combo thats a little more balanced. The K88/QJT/straight looks ok, but in 2-7, its much easier to make hands in the top and bottom. I think the low straight is borderline giving up the bottom, QJT is basically giving up the middle, and K88 is good but by no means a sure thing. I think, at best, you're looking at 1 of the 3 streets holding up.
If you use 44K / 3567T / 88QJ3, you have a much better shot at winning the middle, and about the same chance of winning the front.
That being said, you're hand sucks ass. |

That is a weird way to play Chinese Poker. My asian friends and I always play all high hands. And the bottom hand must be stronger than middle must be stronger than top.
And can't imagine other setting than K88/QJT43/34567 ... is playing QJT on top a joke? |

the idea is that your getting scooped a lot when u play K88/QJTlow/7high straight caz they are all in the bottom 1/3 of hands u can set in each spot. Whereas playing 86 low is like in the top 20% of lows u can set in middle. |

k88 is bottom 1/3? |
If you are playing all high hands, K88 is probably a 3-1 favorite to hold up. In 2-7 in the middle, K88 is probably a 2-1 dog--its a push at best. |
