Ideal tactics vs shorties in micros

Howdy,

Im just wondering about you guys general tactics for dealing with the shorties in your tables.

I play nl25 and I pretty much don't give them any credit for any hand. I tend to 3bet shove them in preflop with almost anything above their range thinking that they are retarded and are playing a super wide range so I will be ahead more than not. If they have 65-75bb I may fold to a shove over the top of I have Q9s or something, if I hit almost any part of the flop or have 2 decent overs I am contini betting/thinking of shoving, and I am not playing anything as to essentially give or get odds for drawing. This strategy gives me more erratic stats too as my 3bet, pfr, call3bets jumps up a couple of % and gives the appearance that I am more retarded that I appear. Also, I feel if they do double up (and dont hit and run) then I can out play them with their new found stack.

Does this seem sound? Any better ideas?

shortie=20-25bb stack
midstack=the 60-75 stack

and afaik with a midstak youre supposed to play tighter, so they 3bet a tight range. tbh i see no reason why to flat their 3bets more :S

Just play fewer hands with implied odds, play more hands with immediate odds. The deeper effective stacks are, the more you want to weight your range towards hands with implied odds and away from hands with RIO.

its not so much a flat rather than a raise/shove or fold. I cant find any way to see if it works on pt3 so why not ask a question imho.

minr vs 20 bb stacks sometimes

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

determine which shortstacks are retarded and which are nits

dont pay off the nits and punish the retards, simple

play two big cards vs them, hit top pair and get it in.

at micros there are a lot of very very bad shortstackers that are either too loose or far too tight so adjust accordingly

i dont give them any credit. i'll stack A high a lot depending on board texture especially if theyre really short, like 20bb or less. I'll generally c/f when i miss tho. I think i sometimes make more money from the shorties .

i would never get it in with overs against the microlimit shortstacks, they'll call off their stack with any pair really

if a short stack happens to be the one to call my pfr i'll just vbet him and take his stack if i hit top pair

make notes. offset my position when tight shortstacks on my left cos they fold so often and play very tight vs them. in position vs loose/crap fish that have just lost money i will raise more hands.

vs mid stacks (30-40bb) i will generally be playing strong hi cards cos of domination- i dont feel comfortable getting allin with KT when I hit the K on the flop.

50-60, less suited connectors than deeper players when OOP vs them. but start playing wider range.

also with only short stacks of 20bb behind and in the hand i will raise to 3bb, regardless of limpers so that if i hit then i will be getting it in and b) i have headroom to cbet and not be pot committed.
