Here are 3 situations vs sick fish where my coach recommended I make borderline calls. Are all of these hands just standard calls?

1st / 3rd read dependent
2nd I guess is also read-dependent but I thought it's a fairly easy fold

ytricky   Germany. Jun 24 2009 14:43. Posts 431

1 Easy call
3 Get it in on turn.
2 is kinda meh. The sample size for 3bets is small. Once he bets the river, you gotta make a descision based on his aggressivenes also his cbetting tendencies.

1) fold pf and yeah ez call
2)snap call and dont get it on the turn call/call turn/river is best way to play imo
3)i hate such situations so hard ... its a pretty snap call there limped pot & etc sux but meh ur ahead in the long run imo

in a state of euphoria

1. ez call
2. I think more often than not ur beat here...flush hit as well..I guess u can beat 10s....depends on his 3 bet freq.
3. snap calling...in the long run i think ull be fine here.

You see...whenever I start feeling sick...I just stop being sick...and be awesome instead...true story...

hand 1 bet more on every street, get it in asap.
hand 2 get it in preflop
hand 3 call turn, mostly to just boat up since i don't think you're ahead much. you can fold river.

Did you notice that we are both deep in hand 2?

It might affect your decision a bit.

i'd probably fold 1(but bet river 7 instead) O_o checkraise@river is rarely a bluff, especially considering you've shown 3 streets strenght
2: read dependent on whether its a call or not though(probably not, i just dont see people bluff here often)
I like what collegesucks said about hand 3

I think only hand 3 is a call of these.

Hand one is never a worse two pair and is a straight for life. If he was the type to bluff rivers, I'm pretty sure you would have noticed by now. He rivered nuts or slowplayed. Sucks.

Hand two with my given stat reads, I fold the river.

I would rather bet/fold in hand 3. I know it sucks but the guys an exploitable fish.

There's no need to level plus it seems he loves to showdown his hands so I bet hoping his retard two pair calls or he snaps his overpair thinking I'm too stupid to notice a counterfeit. I dunno, he's fish. I think checking the river to a 40vpip with trips is a huge leak. We would be folding cuz his turn min raise and river shove would mean a boat... or shitty AA but we won't take that chance.
Also, I suggest trying out Aggresion Frequency (AQ?) stats over Agg Factor.

Money was never a big motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playing the game

hand 1 i never expect to be good here, but i hate folding.

hand 2 is a fold he's never bluffing two streets or value betting worse.

hand 3 is a turn shove imo.
