I dont have stats right here, but basically I didnt put him on a better ace, his value range seems like pretty much sets and 57s, I think at this point I had a kinda bluffy image that I can get stacks in with tp here, so I did, thoughts ?

Also I thought even if he had a better ace he wouldnt shove the turn but rather call again.

What do you think he puts you on? I mean, for your play to be correct villian needs to float the flop with air and shove over a second barrel in a 3-bet pot.

well I was hoping he might put me on something that picked up outs on the turn or a complete bluff, I dunno maybe I didnt think it thru enough, all that I knew was I mostly likely have the best hand an a pretty good image to get 2 barrels in.

you're only betting half the pot, maybe he can call with decent draw/shoves on turn misreading you as weak? 78,56,K8 suited, A7, A5, 55's, 77's

i think you make a good point about this being a good spot to get 2 barrels in, and it seems like an ok call. (if you fold here can't he abuse that information?)

well ive seen him defend A4s, and he obv defended 67s so he has all 9x in his range, along with a lot of other stuff we can get value from when we hit an ace, why do you think its terrible jamie?
