Villain in this hand called me a nit because I stacked him with KK vs his JJ 3 handed on another table just a bit ago.

UTG Hero raise 150$ w KK

UTG+1 calls, btn calls, super fish on the blinds with 1.2k~ calls

flop 267dd, fish shoves 1k~, I call, UTG+1 folds and btn thinks and raises to 3k.

I don't have a diamond, whats my move? the hand is played online on ipoker btw

not THAT much of a difference actually, but yeah i guess it's interesting since we can rule out nut flush draws

i don't care at all about being called a nit, but I think is was important for this hand.

I almost insta folded but i regreted it inmediatly, i was playing too many tables and didn't think of all the factors, the fish was a super fish that could be shoving something as bad as 42 there, it was def possible for him to raise a naked 7 there, especially because of the fact that he called me a nit in a cooler situation for 1 bi (it means that he is somewhat retarded), he showed 88, but I think even if I didn't see the results my view is that is should be +EV to push there against this particular guy.

bottom line : i AM a nit lol

wait you folded? doesn't he always have a worse overpair here? i guess i've been playing way too much live poker to be a profitable online player [=

I still think it is a fold. The stack sizes are still too big.
If we don't know whether he is capable of this play with 88 or not, I think it is somewhere along this: with 7k push QQ,KK. With 8k push AA, KKd. With 8,5k push AAd.

It also does matter if it is the 2 that is non diamond, because that decreases the likelihood of a par + fd combo.

Lets say we are the button and we have J8dd. What do we do?

still a fold imo, I mean even if you add all these small pairs he might be doing this with his range is still too strong and obv contains 0 bluffs.

If we knew villain's raising range included 88-QQ on this board then won't folding be giving up too much values?
