We're maybe 70 hands into playing and both playing pretty small/snug with pretty much all hands ending preflop or on flop or checking down to some later street with not a single >1k pot yet. I'm doing slightly more of the raising/betting/winning pots i think but no real difference.

What's my river plan here and if I bet what do I do facing a raise

cant say cause moussa is a good friend of mine but everyone else seems to be on the right track. the interesting dilemma is betsizing, but u can ponder it over yourself

bet/folding half pot sounds ok...? I think check/calling is also fine against certain opponents

I honestly dislike those spots

I like mixing up my betsizes in this spot, with a greater weight towards big bets. Your leading line looks weak/bluffy and a big bet discourages him from bluffing.

thread 1, ket 0

i bet 1450 cause as seboss said looks bluffy so i get decent value from calls, planning to probably fold if raised but not really thinking about it cause i dont expect to get raised much. Then he shoved after not much thought and instead of doing the obvious thing to fold i levelled myself into calling because:

- i get 3 to 1
- how can he have a 9 here?
- how can i have a 9 here?
- hes supposedly good so he might realise these things too and be bluffing here sometimes... one time???

in reality thats prob pretty dumb and i doubt hes nuts enough to be bluffing esp with how quickly he shoved, as tomson pointed out to me on msn (if he was bluffing he'd at least think about it more instead of doing some fast impulse ridiculous bluff, only nutters like 20 buck spin might do stuff like that and jcmoussa is the polar opposite of a nutter like buckspin). oops?

O this is jcmoussa? Ya I don't think he's gonna bluff raise you but he like 100 percent has to bet all of his 2pairs if you check to him so why don't you just check and let him value town himself?

that said I could see getting hero called by some 2 pairs too so the obvious line is to bet/fold, but i still think you can check call it with at least a little confidence :-P. Pretty much just don't do what you ended up doing ^_^

he obviously had it since he said he bet/called and hated himself

Because he's checking back a lot of hands that he might call with, and he's just not betting very many hands that we beat.
