25/50 /w 100 ante on button

i found this spot really weird due to the stack sizes

villain in this hand is mori the producer of poker after dark, we splashed around a few small pots nothing special except one hand where i raised 200 preflop, a coldcaller, mori re-raised to 700, i made it 2k, and he made it 7k to go with J8o and i folded AKo face up.

i had raised preflop the last like 6/8 hands taking it down almost all of them preflop and the hand before this I got 3bet by the BB where I folded.

I raise red kings to 200, mori flats, sb who was bb last hand makes it 800 straight, mori looked really dis-interested and i felt sb was weak so i just flatted expecting it to go HU, mori also calls.

i have 40k, mori has me covered slightly, sb has 25k or so to start the hand.

flop is K73 all clubs

sb checks, I bet 2200, mori flats.

turn is Ax

here's where I felt a bit lost on what line to take, I think mori's range here is very strong from flopped sets to small suited that hit the flop with him smoothing with the preflop raiser still left to act but I don't think he has hands that flop the nut flush here very often and i doubt he ever puts me on KKK here with me flatting preflop.

there's 7k in the pot and betting 4-5k then getting raised to 14-15k with 37k behind would fucken suck balls since I would pretty much have to ship it in and be behind a fair amount of times to small flushes if i'm called. But at the same time since the turn card is an ace and if mori flopped a smaller set he would most def call of his stack since my hand looks more like AK with ace of clubs then anything else if i bet.

I don't think he's ever checking back the turn to me with the range he calls the flop as well. I'm not really sure how he would react to a checkraise in this spot with a set or small-medium flush.

if I had like 20k left on the turn I would just bet and ship it if he raises without much thought but with 37k behind it feels a bit spewy to ship in so much on the turn.

so what's my best line here?

i really wanted to see what he 5bet me with and live players almost always show their hand if you show yours in spots like this.

giving him the information that i folded AK preflop 800BB deep to a 5bet didn't really bother me

he was talking about him showing his fold, which he later retracted when OP stated why he showed.

and Corwin is the sickests of nits between nits he wouldnt ship more than 10bb with AK, just like phil hellmuth wouldnt with TT

I don't really like turning my AK into a bluff fwiw. Anyway, so why can't he have Ac x x . I think the A is the perfect to continue betting, I would bet 5k and make new plan when he makes it 15k. PRolly not giving up this hand though

I think you should check flop. Now check turn. If turn goes check check, you can overbet river although you did fuck up that image didn't you.. If you bet and someone raises, you should prob call and fold river if its not overly commiting, however painful that might be.

super deep is fine actually, unless opponent is retarded enough to lose 500 big blinds here without a flush on flop
