Ok so this is the hand as I remember it*

So I decided to squeeze to isolate the fish (anaribys) whos playing every other hand. I've been playing relativley tight, no one should suspsect anything. Orig raiser plays ~24/20 or so, preety in line nothing special
He peeled flop preety quickly after 3-4 sec of thinking

What do we like here after ~10-20 sec of thinking
Do we change our mind after we think deeper about the hand?

I decided after ~10 sec or so that shoving is the only option left for me

NOTE - WE TURN A FLUSH DRAW (in case you dont have 4 color deck!)

his range looks like AA/AK/AQ to me AA being the most unlikely, we expect him to shove the flop with a set or KK here no? I don't see what you ever make him fold on the turn that he peeled the flop with, I also wouldn't imagine he would decide to bet the turn with anything other than an AX hand so I'd just hope for a free card.

That's one strong protective bet, not to mention he might play AK/AQ this way. In the case of the former, we were going broke anyway tho and actually now have more equity than on the flop.

At first glance, it seems kinda suicidial but it's really difficult to think of any good way to play this hand anyway. Any reasonable bet commits you to a call anyway because of your fd and checking will get him to check twopair and set hands behind so I guess this makes the most sense. That being said, I don't think there's much difference in betting $300+ compared to just shoving altho shoving might look more bluffy.

Soooooo... after this rambling; I'm gonna go with well played, sir.

Well I guess the point of the bet is not as much fold out better hands than to protect against those with reasonable amount of outs. I also think he might just raise the flop with AA rather than flat, since something like a 9 would totally screw his hand up. Also, I don't think it's necessarily true that he'd raise a set on this board. Sure there are a few potential scarecards that could hit, but getting Tom to barrel oop with AA/KK/AQ might be worth the flat.

Dunno tho, check/fold seems awfully weak here and like mentioned, checking allows him to check worse hands behind to catch up and better hands to bet, so I guess it's just weighting which one is a worse result. Pretty sure some math could be done here to determine which one is better against weighted ranges and where the limits go (take the weight for beating hands compared to hands beat as variable and balance the equation; of course taking the flushdraw into consideration.)

yeah hmm I think this requires some pokerstoving but honestly I'm not very confident he's flatting 2p/set very often on the flop, if tom was just cbetting the flop with some garbage hand he squeezed with he's not going to barrel the turn again (I hope...) and if he's betting the flop for value he's not folding to a shove.

also tom; if you're squeezing garbage are you betting full pot on the flop every time?

I don't know what he can have except like AQ and random stupid crap (including KQ). I guess I'll just check/call any and if he checks behind I'm turbololshove river unless it's a board paring card.

i like the shove

ur hand is too strong to be c/fing, and a lot of hands that u beat have about 6 outs to a split in addition to whatever outs they have for the boat so u gotta protect.
