sup guys; with christmas coming around the corner and stuff, I've been trying to narrow down the options available to me as far as a gift I would get for myself because honestly I had no fucking idea until now. So here's the thing i've been messing around with this software from atomix productions called VirtualDJ and quite frankly I suck at it.

There's this party coming dec 19th for my job which i'm pretty much gonna get busy with everything music related. I would like to know if anyone around here knows anything related to computer dj'ing because I won't be using turn tables or whatever, it's all stored on my laptop so basically if we crack it down:

1)What kind of setup/accessories should I have?

2)Is there anything you could recommend (I was browsing around briefly and found this NuMark DJ in a Box that looks decent- http://www.numark.com/totaldjbox )

*note-> I don't need any top tier equipment just some basic stuff as it is only a pasttime and I wouldn't go further =P

oh gosh, lemme text kanye and c what he uses to turn his non-talent into chart toppers..
