Anyone play this hand any different? Should I be check/calling the turn and then check/deciding river? Or is the line I took ok?

Initial raiser is complete donk, MrVols16 is also extremely passive..stats are 44/17.

i thought about leading the flop but then I thoguht because it was so draw heavy, i could potentially represent a combo draw with a check raise and still might get action from AT+ and would be easier to get the chips in on later streets with more money in the pot.

Where if I lead, thhose hands might be scared to raise me and I'll just get the pot pot pot bets without building the pot too much to stack em'. Playing OOP sucks.. fold pre imo.

Well the perks of betting the turn are you get QJ, KT, QT, AT, to call

But checking keeps the pot small and you can check/call check/fold the river.

Are we missing value from those hands or just combinatorially are there as many flushes as made hands here?

well firstly if those hands don't have a heart they prolly aren't calling, and if they do have a heart u aren't that far ahead

but the main problem is that a flush is calling the turn bet too... so what are we just going to bet out again on the river into a flush, forcing ourselves to call?
unless of course we bet as pussy as this guy did in which case we are asking to be bluffed
