He's 14/8/1.5. I figure everything I was getting value from pulled ahead on this turn, except for AQ which doesn't bet. Thoughts?

i like flatting more pre. raising pre he will call all better and fold all worse.

I'd rather fold than flat, being OOP. Against a button open I'll raise and use the fold equity, because my hand gets really tough to play on a lot of flops.

And I don't think his IP calling range is just PPs and AQ+.

well i dont think we have much fold equity pre considering he is openign such a small percentage of hands. folding might be better then both options. also i dont like using such a powerful hand as AJs for its fold equity. i liek flatting pre and making moves on low boards that i can rep well and letting him bluff ace high boards and stuff.

To get value from what? Or as a blokcer?

No I'd prob bet/fold that...

FWIW, I'm a lot more worried about AK than clubs.

As a blocker but your fold isn't bad. I guess that 3 bet preflop kind of saved your life because him being so nitty you can pretty much only be ahead of 2 of his hands AQ and QQ but I don't think someone as nitty as him would bet the turn like that with either of those hands. The 3bet kind of screwed you too though because now the pot is decently sized.

3betting for value vs an 8% opener with AJs is bad imo

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

against a nit Id call this pre most of the time even tho you're oop - it's suited and a bit deep. as played turn owns you so that's a little close between b/f and c/f but I believe c/f is better for he might fold alot of AQ on the turn and doesn't tend to bet it often if checked to... yeah u played this fine I think... it's a bet/fold if you believe he gets to that point with KJ/AT(-) tho..
