Your right in that he could have pretty much anything here including a busted FD - your bet size on the turn is wrong imo as your almost giving him the right odds to call for his flush. Either Pot turn or check behind to hit your flush for free |

With stats of 41/8/16 assuming 16 is Agg Factor not Frequency then you have to call as played as the guy is clearly an aggro spew monkey post flop.
I would fold PF. EDIT:- as you are on the button then actually no problm with PF bet. As played PF and flop I would check behind the turn and call a reasonable sized river bet. |

How long did he take call on each street? If he had to think for a bit before shoving on the river, I would be more prone to call.
Like you said his range could be really wide here, and hands that beat you here probably include sets, AQ, KQ, two pairs, and maybe even a freak 86hh. I don't like double barreling the turn because a 48/8 is semi-likely to shove his entire range on the river, putting you in a nasty spot even if the flush hits.
The bluffs in his range are busted flush draws and JT (shows up more often that you'd think).
Having said all that, if he instashoved that river, I would fold because the majority of sane people would have to think before shoving a whole buyin. If he took anything longer than that I would call. |

But really, I don't think you should be betting the turn and folding if the river bricks, it's pretty weak play imo. |

He has 22% of the guys "outs" if he is on a FD, so that's more of a reason to give a deceptively better price imo. If the guy is drawing he will base his plays on 9 flush outs instead of 7 and he'll end up making a play that he thinks is profitable but really isn't. And besides if the flush hits I'm happier than if it doesn't against this guy's range. |

Not saying that I would even bet the turn here, I'm just making a point about the bet size. I'd probably check behind the turn myself. |
