I tend to consider this standard cooler, but I have been thinking a bit about it and now I am not sure.

original raisor is quite aggro.
jarsiv is running at 29/15 with 3bet 5. I thought that means he usually 3-bets both JJ and TT.

people never shove QK/JT here, ever.

So you think that after my cold 3-bet on the flop and his 4-bet I am vs a range that is exactly TT/JJ? + Maybe some pure bluff or slowplayed AA once in a bluemoon? Which means I basically have to fold here as standard without a special read after he 4-bet me?

Maybe just flat the minraise, cuz otherwise u look damn strong...

And if u call and limpa dirr shoves KQ and the other dude doesnt fold JT QQ or whatever that u beat.

The biggest mistake is playing with LIMPA_DIRR here. He's nasty.

seconded
i also like to flat the minraise b/c you cant have anything other then a set on a such dry flop when u 3bet the minraise on the flop and KQ is never gonna shove over us and probably not TJ or QQ-AA either.

Since I have doubts about my play, I want good players to comment on it. I basically want to know what experience do most people who play similar games have and what range is villain likely to have here. Because after I thought about it for longer, I am quite unsure if a normal non maniacal regular will have anything but TT, JJ and JTs in their range here, with JTs being actually less likely, because a lot of people wouldnt shove it maybe.

(And of course I am not asking about your live poker experience, live I dont have a problem stacking off with 55 against JJ here even say 4 buyins deep, because I know some people will have hands like 97, K9 or KJ here.)

And pokerstove says, that 55 is only 23.5% against a range of TT, JJ, JTs here.

What line would u take after calling? I mean, if safe cards will come, u will loose whole stack anyway when he has overset, but now the original raisor will call the minraise with anything like KQ/AQ/98... and u wont have much easier decision on next streets.

Ive been thinkin bout this situation too
I think you can fold here fairly easy even though some would say set over set is jus a cooler
from his preflop call JJ and 10's are def. in his range and after his 5 bet shove a fold is def. possible
nothin else shoves here except a set
think about it

i like flatting the min here

it's gonna make the pot big enough your gonna get it in that way by the river anyway

and it lets them come in with a wider range vs you as opposed to if you 3bet this flop and call a push, that range is very narrow.

the way you played it if the guy's a nit this is 100% fold and he looks on the nitty side judging solely from his stats.

if we are folding here, then we should never be 3betting the flop and since we're never folding here, then we should just flat flop

i think there are players that at worst *sometimes* have JTs there, and it would technically be correct to get away from ur hand, but i still get coolered here every time.

TalentedTom    Canada. Dec 03 2008 13:44. Posts 20070

It would be a different animal if it was something like 5J7 rainbow cause no one really had J7s in their range

meh read the hand incorrectly again lol

flatting flop then mostly folding if i see heavy action by both by turn. k pretty much kills u if they continue firing
