ok I've seen similar spots like this before and I have good feel of whats correct at most times but this particular spot really threw me off and I was totally lost for some reason.
6 handed effective stacks are 1k
i raise UTG+1 A9cc to 30, laggy reg that I don't have much history with coldcalls, and bb who is an insane retard calls obv.
this table has been running for a good hour so obv the reg knows the BB is a retard and knows that I know this.
I flop the nuts as usual, Jc Tc 8s
F'en retard leads out for 10, I raise to 80, reg smooths, idiot folds.
turn is, 3s
I lead 166 and get raised to 450
a lot of times I will check the turn here after someone smooths a raise on this type of flop since I don't want to be put in this situation but the flop action is so retarded that my raise is more like a bet and he's just calling a bet on the flop rather than a raise if that makes sense.
am I reading too much into the dynamics of the table when this is just a standard hand? |
