The villain Micaroni is REALLY loose and it seems that he plays really floaty and shit looking for spots to steal the pot. Loose like 36/25 and he just plays a huge range of hands. I'm fairly confident that I have the best hand until the river and was just looking to get my hand to showdown here. He obviously doesn't let me and pushes the river after betting the turn half pot. I don't want to raise the Turn because I can't really rep much anyway there plus I want to keep the pot small, it's already been 3bet preflop and is 3way. I know I am good here in some cases vs this kind of villain, so what I wanna know is can I ever call this river shove? I guess I need a stronger read here, but I can't decide whether this is a value shove or an attempt to push me off the hand.

Fold pre or 4 bet, flatting here is super awful and will only put you in awful spots just like this one and it is even worse against a super aggro player

PF, I'd fold or 4-bet if you think the 3-bettor is doing it light.

River spot is at best marginal and at the very least super-high variance. Call if you like super-swingy graphs.

guys villain is not the 3 bettor preflop, we need info on 3 bettor to decide whether 4bet/call jam is good or not.
As played I probably just lead out on turn or maybe even flop since we cold called preflop and they may interpret that as a big pair

you need info on how he plays postflop to decide whether calling river is good or not
you should probably know how often he calls 3 bets and stuff too

Just asking if you can call on river is a bit arbitrary since we don't really know how he plays & how often he plays in a 3 bet pot.

Yeah you need reads but in general I think you are crushed here.

Well I learned later in the session that this guy (micaroni) barely ever folds to 3bets preflop. He likes to see flops with basically any trash and will generally fold to continued aggression. But here I look passive so he goes super offensive?

his pf numbers dont mean too much, what we're interested in is how often he 3bets, and specifically how often he 3bets this specific opponent. 1010 is a difficult hand to play OOP especially agaisnt an opponent who has a wide range, because not only does he get to control the action but you are unsure of what boards are good and what boards are bad barring board like 336 or 710A. IMO if he is 3betting a ton and abusing the shit out of position you should 4bet pf and consequently should have a range including 4bet bluffs. he will respond by either shoving lite or bluffshoving in which case u stack off even lighter, or by not 3betting at all which is good new for us too.

4 bet if the action has been crazy enough and you think you're ahead. Otherwise fold. Dont do this

well my point is the action SHOULD have been crazy enough because we cant let him 3bet ppl relentlessly while sitting on our nitty asses waiting for 1010 to then flatcall --;
