itunes8 burning error

I'm having touble burning CD's on itunes 8, I made the playlist clicked on burn disc, then it goes "checkin media"----"writing (first song)"-----and suddenly it says "canceling disc burn, this may take a minute or two" and then it freezes until I force the CD to get out.
Also if I put the CD in again, itunes crashes.

anyone knows how to fix this?

What System OS are you running? Do you have all the drivers necessary for your CD Burner? Was this happening when you had a previous version of iTunes? Have you tried rebooting? Has this always been happening?

I'm running on Vista, I think I have all the drivers, its the first iTunes I have, yes I tried rebooting, and this has been happening for 2 months.
First I thought it was a problem for installing daemon tools, but I have already uninstalled it.
