Omaha has a really sick swing variance right ? I think it'd tilt the sh.t out of him already even playing the lowest limits ~

theoretically shouldnt u be able to play more hands than less at NL2 since their ranges are always a lot wider?

I think a pretty good way to start would be Sit and Gos, even the ones for play money on Full Tilt Poker are pretty good.
Honestly, when you start poker online for real money, you need a lot of dicipline, you must not go chasing flushes and straights for high costs and you just gotta be patient.

I'm trying to build my bankroll from SnGs on FTP, i like them because unlike ring games, i only stick in roughly $1 and i can't lost more after that, unlike ring games where you can win big one hand and then lose it all the next (which will definately happen because hey, you're winning right? why stop )

hello by the way

yes but I think a beginner will eventually if not right away crash & burn if he starts out trying to play like durrr

I mean I see playing NL2 as a preparation for the higher stakes, it's not really about making money (except you have to make money because thats how success is measured). He could figure that getting a job will make him more money than playing NL2 and therefore do so and skip the lower limits but how will he do?
