playin some reg HU on 4 tables, he seems pretty straightforward and probably on the tighter side of HU, he's playing 52/33 HU with only 10% 3bet.

not too many pots before this that helps in this pot but overall I'm up like 2k on him at this point across the 4 tables, have gotten the money in good almost all of the pots.

um I've been min-raising the button every hand this match on all 4 tables since he's been giving up his bb way too much and not nearly 3betting enough.

1k effective.

I min-raise q2hh, he calls

flop QcJh5h $40

he bets 40, i make it 144 with the nuts, he calls

he's been calling the min-raises and donking pot like 70% of the time the last 10-15 minutes with anything from mid-pair to any draws, i guess its to counter the min-raising? I've been raising the flop donks with anything playable.

turn 3c $328

check, check

river 2x $328

he bets $450, I am WTF?

first time he over-bet river so far.

SHOVE? or CALL?

maybe..

FOLDLOL?

first off i like your preflop plan and general flop plan. in this specific hand you have to ask yourself if he overbets and calls a shove with worse 2ps or hands like Q10, which are the only hands you beat. based on his pf numbers it seems hes not really defending with J5 or stuff like 53ss too much, so I think we can safely flat.

I don't play HU, but by your description it really feels like he's getting frustrated and just missed his straight or flushdraw.

I'd almost always flat here.

Bah, changed my mind. I like flatting instead ,in case he sucked out with better 2 pair.

i'd flat, since shoving/calling are going to be very close in EV, i believe its important to see what he overbet with

looks like flat call was the correct play as I suspected, although very very close.

only thing that really bugged me was he's very unlikely to have a 2pair hand that's better than mine given flop and turn action on a draw heavy board.

usually when someone makes a retarded bet like this with a hand like KQ or QT on the river they are very unlikely to fold to a river shove when they are committed since their basically thinking "I want this bet to look like a bluff so this guy can call me light" or something very basic along those lines he's not really thinking about my range except that its ATC so a river shove would prolly just make him go fuck this monkey and hit the calllll

fwiw he showed Q3o

yea lol

was like 2 hour hu session and his stats were like that but he showed up with all sorts of shit

maybe he was very tight the first hour and started loosening up after he got fed up with the minraises since my stats were like 96/80 lol

results make me think a shove was even closer imo

i wouldn't ever think about raising lol, since he's folding everything that's worse unless he's a complete retard, but a reg would never call a raise with worse, and if you beat him you get to see his hand by calling likem ez said

why?

cuz if Q3o is in his range then so is presumably a whole bunch of random ass terrible hands and worse 2pairs
