this seems like a hand you'd want to show down. wouldnt it be better to just call it down? kinda seems like youre turning your hand into a bluff with the raise. |

I think you are on the right track here. If you raise you pretty much announce to him that you have a Q+, so he is probably only going to get it in splitting or better after you raise. I'd just let him overplay his overpairs for 3 streets and then raise when the pot is too big for him to fold. |

But I mean if you think he will 3bet an overpair or something on the turn then by all means just get it in there. |

I don't understand calling the flop, raising the turn, then folding. |

villian could be playing overpairs. with your line i'll call the shove. after your reraise, villian has the option to shove or fold and is possibly incapable of folding KKs AAs so he shoves. how does villian think of you? i'll def. get in. whatever the results, i'll make a note of it for future reference. |

If you're going to c/r/f, better to do it on the flop. |

if you decide to just call on the flop there is no reason to raise the turn unless you think he'll stack off with worse - which he prly won't given the fact that he's a nit and raised UTG (btw I don't mind mucking this pre). also your line (call flop/raise turn) looks very strong to him - it would be a viable option if you try to represent a queen on the turn(with some kind of pp as a bluff). just call his turn bet and be prepared to call another one on the river. but Id probably just raise the flop as a standard. as played this is AQ 77 JJ KQ (QJs maybe) most of the time. in conclusion you turned that pretty hand into a bluff on the turn if your plan was to fold. |

I think AKd would be the best hand for you, but this can be JJ, anyhow this is 6max so I'll call, and the way variance works, you're not drawning dead to any hand. |

turn play is too strong to be a boat (regularly) imo |
