I think its fine, you can also call and get it in on the turn but if your image is really loose you can perfectly do this for value here.

You got alot of money in preflop, you have basically the second nuts and he wants to get it in. no problem.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what kind of range do you put villain on given his image and stats? I have a few ideas but I in my feeble mind I feel like its a relatively easy shove. I suppose this is why I am having swingy sessions that wind up being fruitless at 50nl.

What makes it close?
his most likely holdings imo are KK, QQ, followed by JJ and AKcc, then finally 88, 55, AJ, and the other two aces. I think you'll get a call from his entire range except on occasion from someone who raise-folds AJ.
Granted raise size looks more like a monster than a draw, but it could easily just mean he has KK, QQ and doesn't want to scare you off.

Unless you're proposing flatting and letting him do the betting I don't see how this is close.

It depends on how you think he would play AJ - JK - QJ - JTs

Those are really the hands your looking to be in his PF calling range
If he folds those to a 3bet or doesnt raise them on flop it becomes alot closer

You beat KK / QQ
You flip with Combo Draw
You lose to Sets

Its really close unless he has the Jacks in his range , and if he does it might be better to call than push

lets let myth take a shot at this first . in short this IS a shove, but if you take a look at his pf stats which may suggest quite a bit about his postflop tendencies, and then take into account the stacksizes and his raise size, imo you're not fairing particularly super against his range.

The dude is quite nitty, main question is if he would call preflop with 55/88/JJ and how he plays his sets in general. I personally think this type of player would be scared to get it in with QQ/KK and not c/r with those holdings but this could be wrong if you 3bet enough to force him to protect, if we add the other aces +AcKc to his range it's quite close so i would just get it in here but not be that happy about it.
