i think this is a call ==> on average its a mistake to fold here.
as far as raising goes, I'm making it at least 7.50$ total. I dont think the minraise is bad.

yeh raise flop is kinda stupid since if u lead out turn its pretty obvious u got a Q and most of the times he ll fold on the flop if he doesnt beat u .. anyway coz u raised 7$ here i d prolly fold coz of 200bb deep and villain s line is pretty strong many players might overplay stuff like Qx here but sicne u have no info i think it leans towards a fold

and yes ur min raise is extremely bad ... min raising overall is extremely bad imo except in certain tournament spots

I think the minraise is not good simply because of 2 cards of the same suit up there. He still doesn't get good odds (right?), but I like to make it more expensive just in case...

The flop is as safe as it gets, you have position on him and if he's aggro you're likely to get more value from him firing a 2nd barrel on the turn (and u (min)raising him, giving him sick odds to call with many weaker hands) than you raising the flop and him possibly c/f the turn.

you aren't giving him odds to draw to anything, no draws are in his range except maybe a backdoor flush draw. minraising is bad because you're 200bbs deep and want to get a big pot built to take maximum cash from this guy.


I'd raise the flop because why the fuck would he ever believe you? I raise the flop here a lot anyway and I'm really aggressive in this spot and usually never have anything so why not play my own image + build a big pot and make it way easier to play for stacks

depending on his holdings, a minraise may give him odds to call on a draw. raising to > 7.50$ should be enough to make a call from him (on a draw) a mistake given the strength of Hero's hand.

again...we don't know his range...or how often he cbets, double barrels or 3bets. imo these stats that would be useful in a spot like this.

I am going to sometimes raise this flop if i am in an aggressive game because noone believes

or I raise the turn but i do it larger.
