I wasn't sure what to do about this hand at first. Looking back I feel like a NIT idiot, because upon further thought process I think Clam could have easily had QQ, and tried to take down the pot preflop, only to make a standard continuation bet on the flop.

I should have pushed it preflop huh? Or even on the flop....because essentially what did I call for....just set value? Bare with me guys I just started internet cash games about a couple of months ago. Learning as i go, and trying to patch up leaks. Is my thought process right? I was having serious trouble putting a 19/13 1.17AF on such an aggressive move.

Clam Vendetta is a 19/13 (68 hands) and Shady is a 27/21 LAG (134 hands)

I think this is either fold preflop or 4bet preflop unless you're calling to setmine for some reason

It's so deep and it really looks like AA, I can fold this, but I don't like the idea of calling 40bb preflop to fold on a perfect board vs a standard cbet. Gotta make your decision preflop.

edit: only two buyins deep which is the buyin, I think you have to make your decision preflop here. He's either cold 4 betting QQ here (and other lesser hands) along with AA and rarely KK, or he's not and you fold preflop.

fold pf, your opponent is not going to 4bet over 2 players with AK or QQ here ever. Calling is def the worst possible play imo. (Fold>Shove>Call)

calling is fine it'lll make your opponent feel VERY comfortable with a hand like QQ, only problem is the fold..

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

I agree for midstakes tom, but at the low limits i just think this is a spew to get KK in here. Maybe the games have gotten more aggressive since i last played, but i dont see the opponent having QQ here ever.

You will see AA here almost always. Fold pre.

lol
I have this HUGE leak u see
it's called I don't fold KK 6 handed preflop period
if I was gonna fold KK preflop I'd move down or get the hell off the table because I'm scarrrrrrrrred

True but this being 200 BB deep makes it all A LOT different. It's just given as defualt, don't ever fold KK preflop without a good read being 100 BB (!!!) deep. I think you should have folded preflop after the raise to 10. TalentedTom is probably right for 100NL or 200NL and above but on 50NL and lower I'm quite sure that this is just always AA and you can (easily) fold this preflop.

Well like Kilay was saying in the previous comment, being 200BB deep makes this a entirely different story. Perhaps I was playing slighly scared money, but I also had a feeling I was up against AA, so I was attempting to play SEMI-smart money (minus my donk call). As HandBanana so Eloquently stated (Fold>Shove>Call).
