I feel that calling is the worst option because it sets me up to get outplayed.
Am I wrong to think its the worst play?

How would you play this hand?

P.S. what should I be doing to get the hands to post properly?

Flat and see a flop imo, but no need to get fancy

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt

way I see it our opponents range is pretty well defined.
he has a healthy chip stack & isnt playing junk here.
Lets divide his range into 3 possibilities:
1)AK, AQs or KQs
2)JJ QQ KK AA
3)88 99 (he calls with most under pairs)

If he has AK, AQ, 88, 99 i should shove pf
If he has overpair i should fold

Calling:
I give villain best chance to win the pot when he's behind by either hitting or bluffing me off the hand

How would you play the hand given either highcard or lowcard flop?

It sounds to me like you are suggesting setmining and not putting any more chips into the pot otherwise.

He's as deep as you that's why i 'd flat here, never ever shove this preflop except if you really have a specific read.

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt

to post ur hand correctly, click on the spade and then paste ur HH there.
Then u will be given a HH number that will look like " [HAND=XXXXX]". Copy and paste that in the post and it will look like this:

Considering:
we are at best a slight favorite
our opponent has position
we have a decent chip position

anyone argue for a fold?

I wouldn't feel comfortable playing this hand on any flop, turn & river that may come. (other than 10 ofcourse)

for me the reraise pf is pretty strong since you are one of the two stacks at the table who can bust him.

4 betting is a big mistake since you cant call a shove and when you shove you turned the TT into a bluff since 99 and under will fold unless hes totally crazy and at very best you get called from AKs to flip and you dont want to flip in your situation.

calling to setmine + post flop play oop is ok
setmine would work since he has enough chips for that (all though its close imo)
post flop play tricky: any A or K high board xF
ragged board is tricky xC the Fl and probably xF Tu there you lose another 4-5K or win the Cbet against AK

Folding would be my choice since your stack is still healthy and the call gets you in a sticky spot
(i stink post flop oop)

Judging people you don´t know for things you don´t understand is just really stupid
