i don't like leading a spade river. I don't see anything calling that you beat but possibly a 10s....
it's 4 handed and he could be doing this with an Ace as well, the question is do you have a better kicker. |

I call the raise and c/c river.
This gets the most decent value from worse aces and gives us a chance to suck out if he has a small flush and protects us from bluffs. |

villain limp called pre so never call him decent hehe
ur gay bet sizes make these hands so difficult to play
i assume u prolly have to call the min raise + $1 and see what happens on the river but bet properly to avoid these spots |

i'd probably check pre and c/f flop. as played i would c/c the turn instead of bet. |

i wanted to see the showdown as cheaply as possible. if i feel like villain is going to bet bigger than i can induce him to call, then i am going to try to bet into it smallish whether the spade falls or not. obviously i can't do this repeatedly but i think it could be a useful tactic once in a while. maybe weaker hands would give me value if the bet's small enough and hands that beat me will raise it, after which i can easily fold. i do think that weaker flushes made on turn might puke and make a stupid crying call as well. i don't know how many players at NL25 will be observant enough to realize that this is a shameless blocking bet while the hand is still going on, but im thinking not very much.
thoughts? |

first off you gotta learn to bet like a man. no more of this 'but i'm scared' or 'i want to keep him in the hand' stuff.
seems like it's played fine, i'd certainly call the turn since it's so small and he could just be an idiot with some ace (you didn't give us any reads which is pretty important) and evaluate river. |

cut out that 2/3 pot "bluff me plz" play. You're in a weird spot now and I think you need to call here.
I'd lead a spade turn I guess. |
