Wow thats so helpful? How about you take your head out of your ass and actually give advice if you want to comment.

I'm not sure about betting Axxx when I don't improve to two pair on most turns. I'm wondering what line people take when they flop their ace and obviously bet the flop but don't improve on the turn.

Jackass.

Vs standard player, I like trying to take it down on the turn, like you did. His turn c/c tells us that he probably doesn't have KJxx, probably 2pr, 33, or TT. I like potting the river as bluff obv, folding out most 2pr and maybe 33, TT.

If he is a station, I check behind turn.

Don't post the results next time ^^ .

I think flop cbet is completely standard. Probably folds more than 50% of the time making it profitable. Even when he calls, you can hit K, 9, or 3 barrel bluff profitably (vs standard player)

ChoboPokeR_r [observer]: i once put a guy on a hand 5 times in a row preflop with how he bet, and i got it all right, nothing too special

I don't really get why you bet the turn, nor why you don't pot it when you do.

You have TPTK in Omaha - that's an equivalent of air, esp. here where people don't get it in light. Even top+bottom pair on river on that board blows. C-bet's fine since you're likely to have some outs and there are lots of hands he has to fold, but unless you hit your outs, just shut down. This ain't Hold'em.

See this is what I wanted, discussion. Thank-you for the valuable advice. I'm usually betting the turn here to push out-draws/and non-Ace containing two pair hands. I like the concept of potting it or close to potting it rather than my bet size though ty Muhweli. Checking through on the turn also sounds good. I'm assuming I'm calling a medium sized bet on the river if I manage to catch 2p.

tbh, i wouldn't put any more money in after flop unless i improved.
If you bet the turn and he donks river, you're screwed.

The hand and the question are quite self-explanatory if you read the hand-history properly.

Fair enough, I forgot I hadn't edited the hand to stop at the turn b4 showing whether I bet or not. In that case it actually would have been ^^.

It's cheaper to bluff river if you don't pot turn.

If you pot turn, river bluff is ~$15.
If you bet $3 on turn, river bluff is ~$10.

I think either 3 barrel is just as convincing, but the second allows you to save $7 when he calls.
