I see no reason to raise preflop, just call and try to play a large pot if you hit a set, and control the potsize and try to make good decisions if you don't. I would raise the turn to give someone with a lone spade or straight draw a chance to make a mistake. No one led at the flop, which somewhat lowers the chance in these tourneys that anyone started with a flush draw. I would flat river; in addition to the flush possibility, JT also got there. In general, "thin value" and "first hand of a single table SNG" do not go well together, which is a mistake I sometimes make. |

nutshot why are you raising this pf?
i'd flat TT even there i think
im a sick nit in sng but in my experience at low sng where no one cares about your ranges for us to absolutely ever put any chips into a pot unless you're willing to bet all of them because losing even 200-300 chips hurts our stack considerably |

He's late position and there's only 1 limper so far, no reasons to not raise. Not because they're bad means u have to play bad too, but again no need to go apeshit on the flop. |

that really depends on my mood but it's not something i've not done before.
I really just wanted to get my point across that I think it's best to flat with 88 here |

i pretty much always raise TT pre, 99 is like 50/50, 88 usually not. like i raise 88 if im co/button without limpers, otherwise flat. |
