yep, they have them at crown in Melbourne. they have 50c/$1 and $1/$2 there, with min buy-in being $20 at both, and max being 50bb's, so you're playing pretty short stacked against mostly shorter stacks (especially at $1/$2 when a lot of idiots just buy $20 cards and sit with 10bbs...). But it seems to attract a LOT of people who have absolutely nfi what they are doing, which is obviously a good thing . The play at the tables at crown are about the standard of NL5 online, no shit, so there's a lot of money to be made for anyone with half a clue really, I've been up about 3-4 times with friends just to muck around and except for the first time (when i had very little idea how to play poker, but naturally thought i was a god) have left with over 2-buyins in profit.

And, for obvious reasons, i think it's pretty good for people who haven't played live much because there's no hassle in counting the chips etc.

Yup these are the ones used at Montreal's casino. Very nice to use, sometimes they freeze but overall it's smooth and very nice, have fun buddy.

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt

Must be the same people that created FTP software made these video tables. FTP freezes ALL the time.

the tables are really great! Haven't seen the HU tables yet, but the 9handed ones are a fast and efficient.

enjoy, as ftrunkz said, at crown in melbourne they attract the fish and i see no reason why they won't attract said fish in the area you live

I played on one of these tables on a cruise recently and it was 1/2NL, $20-$200 BI. It's just as fishy as any 1/2 live game I've ever played. Only two things really sucked about it. The rake was fucking insane. If it folds to you in the SB and you raise and the BB folds, you only win a $2 pot. The other bad thing was that it was kind of hard to get a game started. There's no waiting list or anyone monitoring the game so you just have to sit and wait for people to come. If there was some kind of waiting list to sign up on and then have names called it would be way better. These complaints could just be cruise things though. Software and interface were great, I prefer it over having chips and cards and having to tip the dealer.

I played them at Mohegan and as long as the people who are playing know what they are doing, its a nice change of pace and pretty quick. Plus the people that play at mohegan are pretty bad, this coming from a pretty bad player.

Quick update on what happened for those curious of the new tables.

The tables are pretty awesome with the standard $4.75 fee thats auto deducted every 30 mins which isn't too bad. I would say that we were getting anywhere from 45-55 hands per hour on the table when it was 10 handed, and probably upwards of 65 hands per hr 6 handed. There was a heads up table, but I didn't bother playing it because I was seated so quickly at my full ring table. Overall, the tables were pretty sick. No dealer, so you aren't losing a ton tipping the dealer/rake, and you get a lot more hands per/hr with the same quality of really shitty players. As far as I know they only offer 1/2 NL and 3/6 Limit along with the standard SnGs and 60$ mtts, but this was on Mothers Day (sunday). Also, while I was there, we had no technical difficulties (was there for like 4-5 hrs)

As for robbing my classmates, like 6 of us got seated at a new table and 5 of them knew I was good and avoided me at all times. The one who didn't know me ended up losing like 350 or 400 at a 100 max buyin table because he was trying to Jerry Yang it pf raising to like 25$ and calling shoves with QTs for full buyins.

Look out for the guy in the tuxedo, hes a real shark. You can usually find him making trips between the table and visiting his girlfriend for a dance off at the nearest arcade.

He extracts tells from you by crawling under the table and tickling your feet.

I was there on Tuesday (05/13) and it was pretty good. I liked the tables a lot and everything goes fast and smooth. The players are TERRIBLE.

I thought the rake was pretty nice. It took like $4.75 every half hour on the 1/2 table. I think this is pretty good considering that the game is going pretty fast.

Good luck
