johnny walker is not balla theres plenty of other real whiskey which is both much better and far more expensive, try some single malt 24 or 30 year old @ $500+ a bottle

I lol'd
edit: I got a bottle of Blue Label and other goodies. AM I A BALLER?!?!. I mean seriously. OP. electric toothbrush? what? GF card that ANYONE with a job can buy? WHAT? Not baller. not baller at all. I hope the title is some clever inside joke...
(yes I know you explained what you meant by 'baller stuff' but I still find it stupid)
In my humble opinion, it is meaningless to say who is best for a blind. If someone excels, he will(must) move blind up soon. If someone stays over long period, and even if he seems good in there, he is just a fish who cant move blind up.

anyone else notice most of the posters in this thread are low limit grinders? ;o
One of my favorite quotes was the advice Nick Diaz gave to little brother Nate before a WEC fight. While graphic in nature, it really is a life lesson. He said “Fuck him up, and don’t be a bitch.”

anyone who doesn't recognize that blue label and green label are actually very good blends, composed entirely of single malt scotches, is ignorant and should just stop posting about scotch. john walker & sons owns many distilleries in scotland, and they use their holdings to create blends of both grain and single-malt scotches with a variety of qualities and flavor profiles. john walker & sons is probably the largest player in the scotch market, and they own a lot of the distilleries that sell some very good single malts, under their own names (without the "johnny walker" label).
so, yes, good single malt scotch is certainly great, and there are a TON of them that are quite baller. but johnny walker makes two great blends in blue label and green label, AND their parent company owns a lot of well-known distilleries in scotland as well.
please stop bashing johnny walker if you have no idea what you're talking about. the lower-quality blends like red label are purely made for mixing and everyone knows that. and if you're talking about alcohols for mixing and not sipping...actually, red label and black label are of pretty good quality.

and...god fucking damnit, if you are so ignorant that you think "only 24 to 30 year old scotches" are good, you're an idiot. as things get older, they get more expensive and generally develop more complex flavor profiles, but if you drink scotch to enjoy scotch and not just to flaunt your money, then you recognize that a 12 year old malt should be given a spot on your shelf JUST as deservingly as a 30 year old. the price is merely a product of RARITY, not of REAL VALUE FOR A SCOTCH DRINKER.
