Cool, I checked, he bet, and I folded. I figured that he does not have a lot of draws that miss on this river. A lot of his JTxx hands will have K or Q in them giving him some sdv which that he will just check down. Or they will have clubs to go with them which sucks for me anyway.

Yea, in my opinion after you check it boils down to a) how lightly he is value betting on the river (some people check back small flushes, others valuebet straights) and b) how lightly he is willing to showdown (again some showdown any pair, whereas others will bluff all of their range).
